2013 - A year of achievement

After every year, we have to think to ourselves, "what have we done this year?". This year was nowhere short of achievements. From the close win for Tokyo's bid for the next Olympics to the release of Twitter Inc.s "Vine", so many records have been smashed, goals achieved and parties celebrated. Of course, we also had our fair share of goodbyes. Most importantly (for me) is Flipnote Hatena (Ugomemo), which drew a colossal worldwide audience of natural artists, young and old. But we all have to move on and stay positive. So, what else has happened in 2013?

Surely, the largest event that has happened in a while has been Tokyo's winning bid for the Olympic Games of 2022? It was a close draw between Japan and Turkey, but the Japanese left a huge impression on the judge's mind, seeing the spirit and willingness to host the world's biggest sporting event.
