Hey guys! My name's Raph and this here is my first blog! I don't really blog but tonight I figured, "ehhh, why not?" I am 16 years old and first started using Hatena's services in about 2010, with Flipnote Studio. Man, was I in love with it! I was creating little videos (though I wasn't very good at them lol) and it was great. But then, I found out that you could actually go online! That just took my whole world and expanded it tenfold. There were some AWESOME flipnotes and very talented creators. Eventually, I actually made an account and started posting my own flipnotes. I wasn't very popular, but I did make it to the back of the most popular flipnotes channel a few times, so that's something I'm very proud of :). I made some great friends and made so many great memories on Flipnote. In 2011, for about a year, my dog chewed up the cable for my DSi charger, and I wasn't able to post any videos. A year later, my charger decided to randomly come back to life, and I turned my DSi on, checked my flipnotes, and saw I had quite the amount that still had to be finished. I do believe I actually finished some of these videos, but never actually got around to posting any of them. Well, I took yet another break from Flipnote, and it wasn't until August of 2013 that I decided to check on it again. I saw that the Flipnote Hatena service was shutdown, and I was heartbroken. I type in the Flipnote Hatena url today and it still depresses me to see so much of my time, so many of my creations, just gone. Anyway, I ended up giving my DSi to my brother because he preordered a PS4 for me. He ended up trading it in for a 3DS, and now I anticipate the release of Flipnote Studio 3D, and hope to see many of the great creators doing their thing again.
