The Ramblings of Hareta

In all honesty, this blog will consist of my randomized thoughts and not much else. I will try to post more frequently!!

Moving House

I have finally decided that Hatena is no longer an effective method of voicing my opinions and stories. I have a gmail account now, so I that will be my new blogging website. I'll post the URL here as soon as I can get things figured out. In the meantime, as my loyal followers, your job is to promote vocaloid concerts in America and play Bravely Default. Thanks, Hatena; I just might use another service of yours someday.

Red Got the Online Emulator!!

I recently found a way to play all of the original Pokémon games, from Red to Crystal. This link will take you to the Pokémon Red page, but below the game, the site has all of the others.

I highly reccomend you check it out! I never got to play these games, so this was the perfect opportunity. Hopefully, we will see Generation 3 remakes soon, and possibly FireRed and LeafGreen ones, too! If you create an account on the website, you would be able to save your game.

Payback Time

Alright, you know you want to do this. George Zimmerman has signed up to participate in a boxing match for charity. I mean, who doesn't want to beat this guy into a pulp? The best part is, he doesn't have an opponent yet! According to his former MMA instructor, Zimmerman isn't a very good fighter, which means you would have a better chance of clobbering him. He is currently keeping the charity under wraps, but he has said that it involves animal rescue. There isn't a reason NOT to sign up! The match is apparently on March 1st, so be ready to either participate or watch it on Pay-per-view. One of the other hopeful opponents is none other than rapper The Game, who wants to fight in the name of Trayvon Martin. Heck, The Game even has a tattoo of Martin on his leg! And if you don't want to fight, Zimmerman has also taken up painting and is selling his works on eBay for about $100,000. Yep.

Man Versus Shark

More weird news...

Dr. James Grant was out spear fishing with some friends in New Zealand, when he "felt something pulling on his leg." Turns out, this was a shark attacking him, so he did the logical thing; whip out a knife he was carrying for some unknown reason and attacked the creature. When he got to shore, Grant used his medical knowledge to patch up his wounds, then he and his buddies went to a local pub. The bartender gave him a bandage, and Grant went to the hospital after being urged by others. He returned to work after the weekend as if nothing happened. Moral of the story: always carry a knife while scuba diving, and the bite of alcohol can soothe a shark bite.
