I forgot to do the meditation before reading again. However, I brushed my teeth and this served as a meditation in some way. I could read the article relatively quick with less times repeating lines. I am still sleepy, but this is due to the late night sleep last night. I really want to go back to bed, but instead of doing so, I will do meditation in order to keep myself awake.

Went to bed very early last night, so I don’t feel sleepy now. However, I am feeling that I should make more effort on reading. I started reading without thinking that I should read fast. I just read it with my normal mindset. It might be okay, but it would be better if I consider this 10-minutes reading as a training and put my best every time. I am thinking of doing a meditation before reading from tomorrow, since it will make me focus on the task and cut any distraction.

Reading speed was normal. Or I guess it’s getting stable. I sometimes read the same lines again and again, but I find a way to overcome this. Just concentrate on reading it again without regretting the fact that I couldn’t read it at once. The negative feeling keeps you away from concentrating, so it’s better to get rid of it as soon as possible. It can be said to life as well. There are numerous things that I think I should have done or regret doing, but we shouldn’t get bothered on these. We cannot do perfect on every tasks, but we have to deal with it because we cannot retrieve the time. The only thing that prevents us from moving forward is those negative feelings, so clear our mind as soon as possible to forget them.

Decision making

I slept very long today. After Waking up at 6:30, I was debating with myself whether I should do the morning routine or not, since 6:30 is the time I usually finish most of the morning routine. This decision making took a lot of time before I actually started reading. I thought it would be better to start my day without the routine, but I wasn’t flexible enough and was afraid to change the routine. Thinking about those stuff just took time. Either way or the other, I want a prompt decision making so that I don’t lose time. The reason I started this routine was because the routine allows me to do something useful without thinking and that reduces the time for decision making. If I spend time on decision making whether or not to do the routine, that is not what I wanted. From now on, I will prioritize minimizing the time I make decisions as well as keeping this morning routine.

Meditation

I started to record when I go to bed, but it was not the best day start this. I went to bed at 0:10, which only gave me 5 hours of sleep. I am feeling very sleepy now and I regret I was asleep late at night. Other than that, I started to do meditation today. It takes 5 minutes, and I am expecting it to sharpen my focus. My mind wasn’t clear today, so it didn’t work as I expected, but I hope it would help stop getting distracted next time.

Better night

I woke up 4:54 this morning. This is 15 minutes earlier than usual. This felt very early to me, so I kept sleeping for another 40 minutes. This is clearly a mistake. I know I got up early, because I went to bed last night earlier than usual. This makes me think that the timing to go to bed is as important as making a good morning routine. Since my morning routine is getting much better these days, it became sensitive to my habit at night. Night and morning are continuous, so we should think of night routine as a part of the morning routine.

Gap time

I woke up and went on to reading easily. I could go to my desk without hesitation and started to read. However, I became sleepy as I move on the lines in the article and now I feel very exhausted. I know that I would wake up if I run, but I am too tempted to go back to bed. There is about 30 minutes before sunrises, so I can't go for a run. I am thinking of a way to overcome this, and I am looking for some activities to prevent it. I don't know yet, but I will try my best.
