Mizumori Ado's Art Exhibition

The other day, my wife and I went to Hirata City to see an art exhibition of Mizumori Ado. There were only a few people there besides us becaus it was a rainy weekday morning.
Mizumori Ado is a famous TV star for our generation. She would performe in the NHK children's programs singing and drawing kawaii illustrations on a transparent acrylic board with both hands at the same time.
In the exhibition, you can see many old Ado's chracter goods, such as sketchbooks, notebooks, water bottles and so on.
After graduated from high school, she failed to enter art collage and was disappointed. Then her mothe made her go abroad in Hawaii and she entered local high school there. At first, she was not able to speak English well, but finally she made friends there and even learned local language in Hawaii. She said the that living in Hawaii made her personality positive.

The President of South Korea

Even the newly elected president once landed on Takeshima provocatively, Japan's Prime Minister gently sent him a congratulatory message.

Being a Korean president would be really hard. He or her should be hard for Japan but has to ask for Japan's help especially a currency swap.

Anyway, I really hope he could handle his complicated circumstances well for stabilization of the world.

Roald Dahl

I downloaded my next audiobook. It was " Boy" by Roald Dahl. He is a popular author for children's books like "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". When I started to learn English again, my first motivation was to read Roald Dahl's children's novels. And "Boy" was one of my big challenge then. I tried but failed to read it at that time. Later, I managed to finish it, though. I'm looking forward to listen to it this time.

Speaking English to the Public

Recently, a lot of English lerners in Japan show their English speaking on YouTube, TwitCasting or something. I watch and listen their talks and feel they are reall good. I did that four years ago. I made my interview pod casting in English even thoug I was really poor in speaking English. I enjoyed doing so then, but I don't do that these days. I became too lazy to do so.
