よりぬきzig1月号(2023)
2022年の音楽は日本の躍進凄かった。2023年の音楽はどうなることか。コラボ時代ないしオファーしたらできちゃいました時代みたいな、平成終わり令和黎明期のいいとも最終回的空気感が歴史になって、硬派な若手がスタンダードも歴史になって、そのそれらをロール(内包)するロックが伸展するのだろうか。
2022年は、アクモンもフェニックスも1975も新譜が出たのに、そのどれらも全然好きでないし、何度も聞いて好きになろうと思える感じもしなく、本当にショックだった。彼らを追おうとする私の感性が死んだんだ、と。
翻って邦楽では、シロップやエルレ、ドーパンのリバイバルが全然良かった。でも彼らは新しいことを全くしていないとも思えた。往々にして唾棄される居心地のよいぬるま湯、というような、まさにそういう感じ。

もともと大学時代にロックバンド組んでボーカルと作曲をしていて、その時の情熱の芥でYouTubeに楽曲投稿を始めて6年目。再生回数的には全然ダメ。破滅。敗北を味わっている。そのことについて冷静に歌いたいという思いがある。「Heroiniac Archaïque」という名の曲。年内に完成させてアップしたい。
