How to pronounce often

According to my dictionary, I can pronounce it ˈȯ-fən, or ˈȯf-tən.

Recently English native speaker usually pronounce it as second one regardless of where the person from.

I learned it as first one. No native speaker  pronounce it as first one anymore?

migrate boot2docker to docker tool box

Docker 1.8 was released. Docker tool box was also released, replacing boot2docker.

Tl; tr

This article is about *short* stories of migrating boot2docker to docker tool box and trying to use kitematic.

Migrating

1. Download installer of docker tool box for windows
   
2. Run the installer
3. Set proxy
   

Kitematic

What is that?

Kitematic is graphical tool for docker. It can manage containers including to pull containers from dockerhub, to run, to see logs of a container, to set environmental variable, to see container's application, and even to make issues to kitematic.

Example

I used Jenkins and redmine for trial.

I could start to use jenkins only just one push of *start* button. Although it is easy to start jenkins in docker command, I think gui start is better for *gui* people.

Next, redmine. This is a little confusing to use it because I can't use --link option in kitematic.

Generally, to link with a database container is necessary. Mysql or postgres. I chose mysql. To solve the problem, I used environmental variable. 

I added some variable in env setting of mysql and redmine, but only that, I could startredmine. The variables I added is below.

Mysql

• DB_USER
• DB_NAME
• DB_PASS

Redmine

• DB_HOST
• DB_NAME
• DB_PORT
• DB_USER
• DB_PASS
• DB_TYPE

To explain about sushi

Today I have a lesson with Ekka.

She really want to know about sushi, so I explained about sushi.

I sent a picture about sushi that I ate last week, and I taught her what kind of fish in the picture. There are squid, egg, gari (ginger), tuna (tekka maki), salmon roe (ikura), sea urchin, and so on.

In Serbia, she said that role style sushi is the normal style. So tekka maki is familiar to her, but normal japanese style sushi is not familiar to her. It is interesting for me.

We will talk about sushi again in next time.

To improve english writing

Because this blog entry is my first article, I will write the reason why I start blogging.

I restarted learning english last year because of my poor english skill.

When I went to Paris in business trip, I couldn't speak well in the meeting.

So, I started  DMM eikaiwa after that and my TOEIC score has been improved.

And today I wanna improve my english skill by writing some articles.
